He would like to bring his decades of leadership, academic achievement and civic service to the role of Town Supervisor, with a deep commitment to transparency, community engagement, and preserving the integrity and dignity of public life.
Raul is originally from New Mexico, but moved to the Central New York area in 1985. He moved to the Village of Liverpool with his wife, Marianne in 2021.
Raul holds a Doctor of the Arts (D.A.) from SUNY Albany and a MLS and MFA. He served as the director of International Education and Senior EOP Advisor for SUNY Morrisville, where he created pioneering summer programs for international and Educational Opportunity students, who are often the first in their families to attend college.
